Pavonis is a Swiss deep-tech startup focused on Next-Generation (NextG) wireless infrastructure for safety-critical cyber-physical systems. Modern factories, logistics centers, and industrial facilities are undergoing dramatic digital transformation: robots, autonomous vehicles, machine tools, and high-precision instrumentation are becoming increasingly mobile, intelligent, and interconnected. Yet the networking technologies that bind these systems together have not kept pace.

Today’s industrial networks overwhelmingly rely on wired Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) for real-time performance guarantees. While this provides microsecond-level determinism, it also imposes constraints: machines must be tethered; production lines are costly to reconfigure; maintenance downtime is high; plant layouts are static; and introducing new capacity or redundancy requires physical cabling changes. As manufacturing becomes more agile and autonomous, these constraints become bottlenecks.

Pavonis exists to remove that constraint.

We build wireless networking systems engineered from first principles for industrial safety, determinism, availability, and resilience — not repurposed from consumer or office use. Our mission is to provide the low-latency, high-reliability, interference-aware wireless layer that modern cyber-physical systems demand, without compromising on safety or security.
